To
me, Freemasonry is about Brotherhood, locally. But then you realize that it means the same around the
U.S. and the world as
well (and maybe even the universe).
In
Freemasonry, I have always met people of quality. The Craft is good for
social and entertainment value, for intellectual pursuits and
philosophical discussions. There is a feeling of community at this
Lodge, an idea of Brotherhood.
Masonry
provides me with a connection to my roots, especially as concerns my
family - my maternal grandfather, who I never met, was a Freemason.
When I was younger, I constantly heard from others that he was a good
man, and that he was a Freemason - both, always, in the same sentence.
